How do you apply for a refinance? With our help, the process is fast and easy
Here is how it works:
1. First, give us a call at 833-733-7700. We will get in touch with you directly.
2. During our consultation, we will explore your financial situation and answer any questions you might have about streamline refinancing. We can discuss available rates, your payment savings and the loan process.
3. If the rate and the payment savings MAKE SENSE, we can complete a loan application. We’ll ask your permission to obtain a credit report with your mortgage information and your Fico scores. And, your permission to email you the initial loan disclosures.
4. Lock or Float the interest rate? We’ll discuss your rate lock options with you
5. We’ll email you the initial loan disclosures. After you review and eSign we’ll need LIMITED supporting documentation from you. Here’s a list:
- Driver’s License(s)
- Proof of Social Security number(s): Social Security Card(s) or Military ID(s)
- Mortgage Statement
- Hazard Insurance Information: Declaration Page or Insurance Agent name and phone number
- If VA Loan, DD214
Note: NO INCOME DOCUMENTATION NEEDED.
6. We’ll process the loan. We’ll open escrow, obtain a mortgage payoff, contact your insurance agent and prepare the file for underwriting. Your new loan amount is calculated based on the payoff and the new escrow account. On an FHA streamline, we’ll deduct any Upfront Mortgage Insurance credit and include the new FHA Upfront Mortgage Insurance. If a VA loan, we’ll add VA’s Funding Fee (disabled veterans are exempt).
7. Now it is time for the underwriter to review the loan and approve it. After approval we’ll email you the Closing Disclosure (CD), which shows the estimated figures at that time, and ask you to eSign it. We can then email your final loan paperwork to the title company and you can sign the final paperwork 3 days after signing the CD.
8. When the title company receives the loan paperwork they’ll schedule a signing of your final loan paperwork. You can meet at the title company or a notary can meet with you at your home or work. Review and sign your final paperwork. We can fund your loan after your 3 day rescission period.
9. After the 3 day rescission period, we will fund your loan. Yes, since this is a refinance, you have 3 days to review all of the paperwork and make sure you want to complete the loan transaction.
10. Your loan is funded! You’ll start saving interest immediately and your new payment will reflect your monthly savings.
